Seven Sundays has issued a recall for its Vanilla Cherry Pecan Muesli because it may contain undeclared almonds.

People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to almonds run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.

The recalled Vanilla Cherry Pecan Muesli was distributed nationwide in retail stores.

Recalled Product Details

The product comes in a red and black 12 oz. plastic pouch with a clear window on the front. The UPC Code is 8-56088-00315-6. The product is marked with a Best Buy Date Code of SELL BY JUNE 29 2018 on the back of the pouch.

A second impacted lot of the Vanilla Cherry Pecan Muesli with a Best Buy Date Code of SELL BY AUGUST 11 2018 was intercepted before being made available to the general public.

No illnesses related to the consumption of this product have been reported to date.

Seven Sundays says that internal investigation found that the problem was caused by a temporary breakdown in a manufacturing partner's production and packaging processes.

What should consumers do?

Consumers who have purchased the recalled 12 oz. Vanilla Cherry Pecan Muesli pouches are urged to destroy the product and bring the purchase receipt to the place of purchase for a full refund.
