HP Hood is recalling more than 145,000 half-gallon (1.89 L) cartons of refrigerated Vanilla Almond Breeze almond milk because the product may contain milk, an allergen not listed on the ingredient label.

People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume the impacted product. The product is safe to consume for those that do not have an allergy or sensitivity to milk.

The recalled Vanilla Almond Breeze almond milk can be identified by a use-by date of SEP 02 18 and a UPC code of 41570 05621. It was sold at retailers in the following 28 states: AL, AR, CT, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KY, LA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, MS, NC, NE, NJ, NY, OH, OK, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, and WI.
