Chrysler is recalling certain model year 2017 Dodge Durango vehicles. These vehicles may have been assembled with rear axle halfshafts that are too short.

If a halfshaft is too short, it may disengage from the differential causing a loss of drive and increasing the risk of a crash.

Owners of the recalled vehicles will be notified by Chrysler, and local dealers will replace both halfshafts—free of charge. These owner notifications are already underway.
