Purina is issuing a recall for dog food due to questions over nutritional value.

The company is recalling select wet dog food under the Beneful Prepared Meals, Beneful Chopped Blends, and Pro Plan Savory Meals brands. Quality tests conducted by the company internally revealed that the products may not contain the recommended level of added vitamins and minerals.

The recalled products were sold in 10 ounce tubs with a best-before date range of 06/01/2017 to 08/01/2017 and a production code starting with the first four digits ranging from 5363 to 6054.

For a full list of affected products, including item names and UPC numbers, see the Purina release. No other Purina products are affected by this recall.

The recalled items are from one production line in Purina's St. Joseph, MO plant and were sold in the U.S. , Canada, and Puerto Rico.

Consumers should discard the recalled products and contact the company for a refund.
