Regency Seating Recalls Stackable Chairs That Could Break
Regency Seating has announced a recall of Oakmont Fabric stackable chairs. The weld connecting the legs to the seat can break, posing a fall hazard to consumers.
The recalled chairs are four-legged stackable chairs sold under the name Oakmont exclusively through Global Industrial Equipment from May 2011 to May 2012. The chairs have a metal frame with padded fabric seat and back cushions. The cushions come in black, blue or burgundy.
The model number, manufacture date '5-2011' and part number 'PO000837' are on a white label under the seat of the recalled chairs. Chairs with the following descriptions and model numbers are being recalled:
- Black Fabric Back and Seat Cushion - Models WB240168BK and CN240168BK
- Blue Fabric Back and Seat Cushion - Models WB240168BL and CN240168BL
- Burgundy Fabric Back and Seat Cushion - Models WB240168BY and CN240168BY
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled chairs and contact Regency Seating for a free replacement chair.
