A compounding pharmacy in San Francisco, CA has announced a recall for potentially dangerous products.

Reliable Drug Pharmacy is voluntarily recalling all unexpired lots of compounded products due to concern of lack of quality assurance and potential mislabeling. All unexpired lots are subject to the recall. The items were distributed between March 24, 2015 and March 24, 2016.

The recalled products bear Reliable Drug or Reliable Compounding Pharmacy and the expiration date on the label.

The decision to recall was made after a series of onsite inspections by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), after which the agency expressed doubts over the safety of the products.

The items were distributed to patients and veterinarians within California. A few products were shipped to Hawaii, Michigan, and New Mexico.

Customers that have recalled product should immediately stop using it and contact the pharmacy to arrange for the return of unused product. Customers should contact their physician or health care provider if they have experienced any problems that may be related to taking or using these products.

Consumers with questions about this recall contact Reliable Drug Pharmacy by phone (415) 664-8800.
