An issue affecting the axle has led to a recall from Riverside RV.

The automaker has announced that it is recalling certain model year 2015 White Water Retro travel trailers, model 176S. The axle on the affected trailers may be too narrow, causing the tires to potentially rub against the suspension.

This condition can increase the occurrence of tire failure, potentially resulting in a crash.

The company believes that about 100 vehicles are at risk.

Riverside will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and replace the axle, as necessary, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin in May 2016.

Owners with questions about this recall can contact Riverside customer service at (260) 499-4578.
