SAHN Designs Recalls Bicycle Helmets Due to Risk of Head Injury

The affected helmets do not comply with the impact requirements of the federal safety standard for bicycle helmets

SAHN Designs Recalls Bicycle Helmets Due to Risk of Head Injury

SAHN has issued a recall that involves about 3,600 SAHN Classic SH523 adult bicycle helmets.

The helmets do not comply with the impact requirements of the federal safety standard for bicycle helmets, posing a risk of head injury.

No injuries have been reported to date.

The recalled helmets have SAHN is printed on the outer shell of the helmet on the right side and the production date and SH-523 Classic printed on the white sticker label on the inside of the helmet. The helmets come in matte and gloss colors. Matte colors include black, white, blue, tan, grey, green, cream, and brown. Gloss colors include black, white, blue, tan, cream, and green.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled bicycle helmets and contact SAHN Designs for a free replacement helmet.
