Separation of the Torsion Arm Leads to Recall of Trailers from Jumping Jack

Jumping Jack is recalling 300 model year 2014-2015 utility trailers, in sizes Standard 6'x8' and Mid 6'x12'. he torsion arm of the axle assembly was made too small for its housing, and as a result, the torsion arm, spindle, and tire and wheel assemblies may detach from the trailer.

A separation of the torsion arm can result in a reduction in vehicle stability, increasing the risk of a crash.

The remedy for this recall is still under development, and the manufacturer has not yet provided a notification schedule.
