A Christmas ornament manufactured by Cheryl & Co. and sold exclusively by QVC is being recalled.

The decorative cutouts on the Cheryl's Jingle Bell ornament have sharp metal edges that pose a laceration hazard to consumers.

This recalled ornaments were sold with 64 cookies and confections. The round aluminum ornaments measure approximately 4 inches in diameter, have four snowflake cutouts, and were sold in a set of eight units per box (two each of red, green, gold, and silver).

Consumers could purchase these items exclusively on QVC televised shopping programs and online from November 2015 through December 2015 for about $55 for the set.

Approximately 25,000 box sets are included in this recall.

At last check, QVC had received 140 reports of consumers who received finger cuts while handling the ornaments, including four consumers who required stitches.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled ornaments and return them to QVC for a full refund. Consumers are urged to use caution while handling the product. QVC mailed return instructions to all known customers.
