J Bar B Foods is recalling approximately 4,050 pounds of a ready-to-eat chicken sausage product due to misbranding and an undeclared allergen. The recalled product contains milk, a known allergen, which is not listed as an ingredient on the product label.

Recall Details

The affected 12-oz. packages of Simple Truth Chicken Sausage Links Spinach Gruyere have a lot code of 8034, a case code of 90394, and a 'sell by' date of APR 16 2018. The packages also bear the establishment number P-7066 inside the USDA mark of inspection.

The recalled Simple Truth Chicken Sausage was shipped to retail locations in Arizona, California, Colorado, Utah, and Virginia.

The problem was discovered when the company received a customer complaint.
