A food distributor is recalling products that improperly entered the country.

Rustico Foods announced this week that it would recall about 2,700 pounds of packaged soup products that were produced without the benefit of federal inspection and outside inspection hours. The ready to eat soups were produced from September 24, 2015, through October 21, 2015.

The products subject to recall are 1.6-pound containers of Chicken Matzo Ball, Turkey Chili with Beans, Chicken Vegetable, and 2-pound containers of Chicken Matzo Ball. These products bear establishment number " P-45180" inside the USDA mark of inspection. They also bear lot codes " 2662015" through " 2942015" on the bottom of the container and " Best By 10/21/15" through " Best By 11/18/15" stickers on the sides of the container.

Rustico distributed the products to retailers in southern California.

There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products.

Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.

Customers with questions about the recall can contact Jorge Castaneda, Plant Coordinator, at (213) 749-9670.
