Subaru of America has issued a recall affecting 33,131 model year 2017 Impreza vehicles.

Winter fuels may vaporize prematurely in the fuel line of the impacted vehicles, resulting in a reduction in fuel pressure, possibly causing the engine to stall.

An engine stall can increase the risk of a crash.

Subaru will notify owners of the recalled vehicles, and local Subaru dealers will reprogram the engine control unit to turn the radiator cooling fan on at a lower temperature. All repairs related to this recall will be conducted free of charge to vehicle owners.
