Toyota Announces Recall of Tundra Pickups Due to Airbag-Deployment Issue
Toyota announced a recall of about 130,000 2014 Tundra Crew-Max Cab and Double Cab vehicles due to airbag deployment issues.
An improperly installed center-pillar garnish could keep the side curtain airbags from fully inflating during a crash.
Toyota is not aware of any crashes, injuries or fatalities caused by the problem.
Owners of affected Tundras will be notified by mail. Dealers will inspect the center pillar garnishes. If either is not installed correctly, it will be replaced. Detailed information is available to customers by calling the Toyota at 1-800-331-4331.
