PACCAR Incorporated is recalling one model year 2017 Peterbilt 567 truck. The affected vehicle has a left-hand rail-mounted trailer air and electric bracket that protrudes upward, becoming a tripping hazard.

Tripping on the bracket or associated connections could increase the risk of injury in the event that a person falls from the top of the vehicle frame.

Peterbilt will notify the owner of the recalled truck, and an authorized dealer will move the air and electric connections from the left hand rail to the right hand rail, free of charge.

The manufacturer has not yet provided a notification schedule for the recall.

For further information, consumers may contact Peterbilt customer service at (940) 591-4000. PACCAR's reference number of this recall is 816-E.
