Haier America has announced a recall for televisions designed for use in RVs.

The appliance and electronics manufacturer is recalling certain 55 inch LED Televisions, model number 55E3500. The affected televisions have bottom brackets used for wall mounting that are prone to separating. This condition could cause the television to fall from its position.

A falling television can put passengers at risk of an injury.

The company believes that about 375 televisions are potentially unsafe.

Haier notified the RV manufacturer on February 8, 2016, and will work with them to remove the affected televisions from the vehicles, free of charge.

Owners with questions about this recall can contact Haier customer service at (877) 337-3639.
