Friendly Farms has announced that it is recalling its Key Lime Crunch Tilts because it may contain undeclared almond pieces. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to almonds run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.
The product was sold in Aldi stores in Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, South Dakota, Illinois, Ohio, New York, Pennsylvania, and California.
The product contains two compartments: one containing 1.5 percent Milkfat Key Lime Greek Yogurt and the other compartment containing white chunks and graham pieces. Consumers can identify the recalled items by best-by dates (AUG/26/2017 04-161 and SEP/22/2017 04-161) and lot numbers (A8872 XXXX and A5003 XXXX). The product's UPC is 041498239091.
No illnesses have been reported to date.
