Bestherbs Coffee has announced that it is recalling all lots of New of Kopi Jantan Tradisional Natural Herbs Coffee due to the presence of undeclared substances.
Laboratory analysis conducted by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) confirmed the presence of desmethyl carbodenafil, a substance structurally similar to sildenafil, the active ingredient in Viagra, a drug for erectile dysfunction (ED). New of Kopi Jantan Tradisional Natural Herbs Coffee also contains undeclared milk.
These undeclared ingredients may interact with nitrates found in some prescription drugs, such as nitroglycerin, and may lower blood pressure to dangerous levels. Men with diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or heart disease often take nitrates. In addition, people who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of serious or life threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.

The affected product is packaged in 13-gram red packs, bearing UPC 557205060083 on the box. Each box contains 25 packets of New of Kopi Jantan Tradisional Natural Herbs Coffee.
Bestherbs Coffee distributed this product nationwide and through internet orders from July 2014 through June 2016.
