VanLaw Food Products Announces Recall of WinCo Brand Ranch Dressing Due to Mislabeling
People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to eggs should not consume the recalled product
VanLaw Food Products has initiated a recall of WinCo Brand Ranch Dressing. The back label was mislabeled with a WinCo Fat Free Ranch Dressing label, and in particular the label is missing an egg allergen declaration.
People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to eggs run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.
The recalled ranch dressing was distributed to a limited number of WinCo stores in Arizona, Idaho, California, Nevada, Oregon, Texas, Utah, and Washington. There are approximately 460 cases of affected product that may have been purchased by consumers with the code date of 08/23/17. The code can be found above the back label on the bottle. No other WinCo Foods products and/or code dates are involved by this voluntary recall.
To date, no illnesses have been reported in connection with this mislabeling.
Consumers who have purchased the recalled dressing are advised not to consume it. The product should be returned to the place of purchase for a full refund.
