Van's Gluten Free Waffles Sold in 11 States Pose Allergy Risk to Some Consumers

Van's Foods has initiated a recall affecting approximately 1,584 cases of Van's Gluten Free Waffles.
What's the problem?
Due to a packaging error, the affected boxes of Van's Gluten Free Waffles may actually contain Van's Belgian Waffles, which contain gluten and milk as ingredients. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk or gluten run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.
The recalled Van's Gluten Free Waffles contain a lot code date of A640234710–WL2, a 'Best By' date of AUG 22, 2018, and a UPC code of 8994730206.
Where were they sold?
The impacted waffles were distributed to food retailers in the states of Arkansas, California, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Wisconsin.
To date, Van's Foods has received no reports of illnesses or adverse reactions associated with the recalled waffles. No other Van's branded products are affected by this recall.
