Volkswagen is recalling about 3,000 new-model Tiguan SUVs for an incorrect certification label.

The affected model year 2015 Tiguan SUVs may be equipped with certifications labels with missing tire pressure information and incorrect weight and loading information.

Without the correct tire pressure information, the driver may over inflate or under inflate the tires, which could lead to a blowout. Similarly, incorrect loading information may cause the driver to overload the vehicle causing it to become unstable.

Volkswagen will notify owners affected by the recall and dealers will correct the information on the certification label, free of charge.
