Westinghouse Lighting is recalling about 5,000 glass shade holders sold exclusively at Home Depot.

The pull chain switch on the holder is incorrectly wired, posing a shock hazard to users. No injuries have been reported.

This recall involves Westinghouse Lighting brand round glass shade holders. The ceiling-mounted holders have model number 70242 and product date code 2014 APR stamped on the bottom of the holder near the socket.

They were sold exclusively at Home Depot stores nationwide from August 2014 through January 2015 for about $12.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled shade holders and contact Westinghouse Lighting to request a free replacement holder kit.

Westinghouse Lighting can be contacted at (888) 417-6222.
