Whole Foods Market has issued a recall for its 365 Everyday Value Organic Raisin Bran because the product contains undeclared peanuts that are not listed on the ingredient label.

People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to peanuts run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.

Recall Details

The raisin bran was sold in Whole Foods Market stores in the U.S. and online through Amazon. The product was packaged in 15 oz. boxes labeled 365 Everyday Value Organic Raisin Bran with a UPC code of 9948243903 and a best-by date of June 4, 2018.

The issue was discovered after Whole Foods Market determined the packaging for the raisin bran in question contained Peanut Butter Cocoa Balls instead of raisin bran. All affected product has been removed from store shelves and online.

To date, no allergic reactions related to this recall have been reported.

Consumers who purchased any of the recalled 365 Everyday Value Organic Raisin Bran can receive a full refund by bringing a valid receipt to their local Whole Foods Store.
