Winnebago Industries has announced the recall of approximately 900 model year 2018-2019 Winnebago Intent motorhomes.

What's the issue?

On the affected motorhomes, the top mounting screws for the exterior rearview mirrors may have been incorrectly installed during manufacturing. This condition could cause the mirrors to fall off while the vehicle is in motion, causing a road hazard and increasing the risk of a crash.

What happens next?

Owners of the impacted Intent motorhomes will be notified by Winnebago beginning in late April 2018. Dealers will then check the location of the mirror and remove and reinstall it to the correct location, as necessary, free of charge.

Consumers with questions or concerns about this recall can call Winnebago customer service at (641) 585-6939 or (800) 537-1885.

Winnebago's reference number for this recall is 149.
