Winnebago Recalls Motorhomes with Potentially Loose Seat Mounting Bolts

The driver and front passenger seats could detach from the mounting pedestals

November 17, 2016

Winnebago Industries is recalling certain model year 2017 Winnebago View and Itasca Navion motorhomes.

The affected motorhomes may have loose driver and front passenger seat mounting bolts, possibly allowing the seats to detach from the mounting pedestals.

If a seat detaches from the mounting pedestal, it can increase the risk of injury and/or a crash.

The approximately 816 Winnebago View and Itasca Navion motorhomes included in this recall were manufactured between March 21, 2016 and September 15, 2016.

Winnebago will notify owners, and dealers will tighten the seat mounting bolts to the proper specification, free of charge.

A specific owner notification schedule for this recall has not yet been provided. For further information, contact Winnebago customer service at (641) 585-3535.
