Due to a wiring problem, about 24,700 electric blowers have been recalled.

The grounded and ungrounded wiring in the recalled Worx electric blower/vacs could be reversed, posing a shock hazard to the user.

The recall includes model number WG507 Worx brand electric blower/vacs listed under a variety of serial numbers. A complete list can be found on the Consumer Product Safety Commission website. The model and serial numbers are printed on the opposite side of the motor housing.

They were sold at Menards and Walmart stores nationwide from January 2015 through May 2015 for about $40.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled blower/vacs and return them to the place of purchase for a replacement or full refund.
