Auto Recall Alerts
A recall may be issued for your vehicle today. But will you learn about it in time to prevent serious damage, injuries or even death from a simple nut, bolt or electrical component?
Will you hear about it on the news? What if it isn't news-worthy? Will you find out while you're waiting for a tow truck or completing an accident report? Will you learn about it a month from now when you stumble into your dealer for an unrelated repair? Do you even go to a dealer? Does the manufacturer even know that you own the vehicle? Did you buy your vehicle used? Are there recalls on it now?
How Does It Work?
When we get notice of a recall, we check all vehicles in our database for potential matches. If your vehicle is involved in the recall campaign, we will notify you with details.
We also verify with the manufacturer each month whether older or as yet unannounced recalls exist for your vehicles.
How Do I Enroll?
When you log in to the Member Center, you will have the option to add up to three vehicles. A Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is required for all vehicles.
What Do I Get?
- Notifications of a new recalls issued for your vehicles;
- Notification of any outstanding recalls on your vehicle; and
- For owners of most GM vehicles, a listing of software updates available for your vehicle upon request.
